IPv6 Identification for Mozilla Firefox

Ever wondered if you're on a IPv4 or IPv6 site in Firefox? I developed a simple extension which displays the IP of the current site in the statusbar and colors it red or green depending on the address type.
If you're interested you can download it here: http://l4x.org/ipv6ident/

A cool tool, nice work. but, when I open a new tab there is a annoying delay before the new tab opens. Is there anything you can do to fix this?
Using Firefox 1.0.3 (with Adblock v.5 d2 + Image Zoom 0.1.7) on WinXP SP1.
edit [050712]: latest version works like a charm!

It looks like the latest version doesn't work correctly with FireFox 1.0.4. It makes any tab (including the default) invisible, which sortof makes my browser useless :). FireFox will only work properly in safemode, or with SiteIP deinstalled.

Very useful: I use on Firefox 1.0.4 on a Debian i386 based System and it works fine.

Hi,
there is ShowIP (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/590).
However, it only shows whether the site has an IPv6 address but not if Firefox actually uses IPv6 to connect to it. Better than nothing :-)
I don't know of any addon that shows if you're really connecting via IPv6.

Thank you, this works!
It's a big drawback however, even in IP4-only networks I get the green IPv6 address ;-)
Thank you anyway, as you said "better than nothing" ;)
