I was recently looking 'miredo-osx' solution:

and was wondering whether anyone has considered implementing a system 'preference pane' to configure aiccu?

Given a bit of spare time (which at the moment is rather scarce) I will be finalizing the new AICCU, which includes a platform-independent GUI and then every platform will have a GUI, and the ugly MFC one will be gone forever.
