hi i have debian sparc..
debian:~# uname -a
Linux debian 2.4.18 #2 Thu Apr 11 14:37:17 EDT 2002 sparc64 unknown
debian:~#
but there are only .deb for x86 arch..
the source cannot compile give some error...
anyody help me to compile it on sparc arch?

i compiling it editing the makefile:
unix-client/Makefile.
put #
#CWARNS += -Wpadded -Wpacked

I compiled a custom 2.6.28 kernel on my Ultrasparc 1/170E. This might be a better option than running the Debian 2.4.x kernel. The last time I tried a stock Debian 2.6 kernel it crashed during boot; I haven't tried again since I compiled my kernel in January.
