Does SixXS allow ip6.arpa and ip6.int ? Thanks in advance, Richard.

Ofcourse, though one has to note that 6bone space still isn't ready for it (yet) But if the delegations are made from the top it will automatically work.

Hi, strange you are still up around 1:47 :) ... anyway, I have a few days left until I get 5 credits and are able to request a subnet (a /64 delegation I think?) for reverse dns testing. I don't quite understand with what you mean with 'delegations from the top', could you please explain that? Or explain in dutch, that is ok for me too :).

Who says in which timezone I really am ;) Delegations go per /48 as per RFC (except for IPng which was before that and they give out /60's, though /48's are available too on special request). You might want to check: 3ffe:8110::/28 delegation in ip6.int: http://www.zonecut.net/dns/index.cgi?domain=1.1.8.e.f.f.3.ip6.int 3ffe:8110::/28 delegation in ip6.arpa (non existent): http://www.zonecut.net/dns/index.cgi?domain=1.1.8.e.f.f.3.ip6.arpa Or try: dig +trace 1.1.8.e.f.f.3.ip6.int dig +trace 1.1.8.e.f.f.3.ip6.arpa dig +trace 1.1.6.0.0.6.9.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.int And ofcourse your favourite DNS manuals...
