[de] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 11 May 2007 22:49:39
Hey, I detected a red message in my tunnel details page: "Using spare credits is not allowed" I have currently 11 credits and wanted to insert a new nameserver entry.. It seems to be possible, but i didn't tried it, 'cause page says not allowed.. Gah? What does that mean?

That means: "When the credit count is 15 or lower, you will not be able to request new tunnels, subnets or NS entries." Look at: https://noc.sixxs.net/faq/account/?faq=credits You need more than 15 credits. Wait some weeks and go on.

I can't confirm that, I was able to add a NS-entry when I had 2 credits (after that 1 credit). It's true for subnets and tunnels.

From the FAQ entry that somebody else already pointed out to you: 8<------------------------------------------- When the credit count is 15 or lower, you will not be able to request new tunnels, subnets or NS entries. This is the so called lower credit threshold/boundary. Note that users with very low credits will automatically be disabled by our robot. ------------------------------------------>8 So yes, you can still change your Nameserver with <15 credits.

I've read the FAQ to credits twice, "Using spare credits is not allowed" and "When the credit count is 15 or lower, you will not be able to request new tunnels, subnets or NS entries. This is the so called lower credit threshold/boundary. Note that users with very low credits will automatically be disabled by our robot." has a different meaning from my point of view.. A message like "You are below the 15 credit threshold" were much more descriptive. Whatever.. My question is answered, but FAQ do *not* make this point clear.
