Ayiya tunnel enabled, no IPv6 connection
Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 08 April 2009 14:53:18
Hi,
I am new to this. I followed the 10 easy steps to IPv6 and I have an AYIYA tunnel enabled on a Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise:
Tunnel Name IPv6 Tunnel
PoP Name bebru01
PoP Location Brussels, Belgium
PoP IPv4 212.100.184.146
Your Location Kortenberg, Belgium
Your IPv4 AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
IPv6 Prefix 2001:6f8:202:39b::1/64
PoP IPv6 2001:6f8:202:39b::1
Your IPv6 2001:6f8:202:39b::2
Created 2009-03-06 10:18:34 CEST
State AYIYA (automatically enabled on the fly)
But AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0 and no IPv6 conncetivity.
If I go to IPv6Calc using https:// I get the following messages:
- IPv6Calc is not available over HTTPS.
- Logged in as xxx (xxxx-SIXXS) SSL connection detected, all communications are secure.
If I go to IPv6Calc with htpp:// then I get the following:
- Your client

What is still missing?

Are you sure that AYIYA is really running and properly configured?
Where is the output of AICCU? And did you install the TUN/TAP driver?

Can you post the output of ipconfig?
Did you assign a static IPv6 address to your interface?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, the page won't load in FF...I had to write this in IE
Adapter #4 is your TAP adapter you created. You can ignore it.

You need to manually assign a public IPv6 address to which ever of those interfaces you're going to use (probably both)
Make sure the IP comes from the range you were assigned.

My Allied Telesis AR440S router needed a feature licence for IPv6.
I have purchased and installed the feature licence.
