400 Deprecated Client Detected - DD-WRT

I've finally managed to get AICCU installed on DD-WRT, but now I'm getting the following in syslog when I try to start it:
Jun 14 21:37:23 192.168.1.3 syslog: sock_getline() : "200 SixXS TIC Service on noc.sixxs.net ready (http://www.sixxs.net)"
Jun 14 21:37:23 192.168.1.3 syslog: sock_printf() : "client TIC/draft-00 AICCU/2005.01.31-gui Linux/2.4.36"
Jun 14 21:37:23 192.168.1.3 syslog: sock_getline() : "400 Deprecated Client Detected, please upgrade to the newest version which can be found at http://www.sixxs.net/tools/aiccu/"
Jun 14 21:37:23 192.168.1.3 syslog: Couldn't pass client information: Deprecated Client Detected, please upgrade to the newest version which can be found at http://www.sixxs.net/tools/aiccu/.
Jun 14 21:37:23 192.168.1.3 syslog: Couldn't retrieve first tunnel for the above reason, aborting
I'm running the latest stable DD-WRT. I was under the impression that it was supported. Am I wrong?

Clearly. If you get that, you are running a very old AICCU. That deprecation happened two years ago. And for the version you are showing there is a very good reason for it btw as AYIYA support in that compile is definitely broken, seeing also that it has a -gui tag (really, do you have a GUI on it!? :). It shows again that distributors should not muck around with Makefiles if they don't understand what a tool really does.
I don't know what the state of DD-WRT and IPv6 is, but at a certain point I gave up on it and switched to OpenWRT which is working so many times much better and has a much nicer configuration system. Oh and a working AICCU ;) Just install kamikaze and go.

Interesting. I'll have to give OpenWRT a try. I was under the impression that DD-WRT was doing the lion-share of the development at this point, but I've been sorely disappointed with it.
Thanks for your input. Hopefully I'll be able to get my tunnel up and running tonight :).

Brian,
IPv6 in stock DD-WRT is far from being complete, and as noted on the DD-WRT Wiki simply don't work:
DD-WRT File Versions
***Apparently, IPv6-related features DO NOT work by default in DD-WRT v24. See IPv6 on v24.
A contributor to the DD-WRT community by the nickname of "crushedhat" did a fantastic job last year, and has created a build which addresses and solves a lot of issues around IPv6, including an updated AICCU client.
Not all of the features are configurable in the GUI, so some tweaking with CLI will be needed, but that will only be needed once, really.
I've been using the crushedhat 10070 image for 6 months now and it works great.
I suggest you read the Wiki entry linked above and the DD-WRT forum thread here to learn how to implement DD-WRT with IPv6 in a reliable way.
Bye, Luca

I've been using IPv6 on a Linksys + DD-WRT for years, never really had a problem (although static configuration, no experience with AICCU).
Cheers,
Bart
