Hi,
because I was really blind I did not find the freebsd howto on the sixxs.net
website. I reinvented the wheel:

But this howto describes some quirks I have been running in.
Did others have the same iusses?

Hi,
you cold mention that there is a port for the heartbeat client in net/sixxs-heartbeatd, so you don't have to build it on your own. I ran into the same problem with ifconfig not accepting the POP's
hostname but requireing an IP.
