no Internet Connection for other IPv6 Clients
[at] Carmen Sandiego on Monday, 12 May 2014 13:17:04
Hello, A few Days ago, I have request an Tunnel and I got it very fast. My Tunnel is an static IP-Adress, but I have an static external(public) IP-Address. Now my Problem is, on the Ubuntu Server, on that I connect to the tunnel Internet over IPv6 works fine, and on Clients I can't use IPv6. I installed Radvd on my Ubuntu Server and Used as Prefix the Subnetprefix from my /64 Now all Clients get an IPv6, but can't Ping, and wieistmeineip.de shows no IPv6 Connection. My Gateway is not the Adress what my Tunnel Client have (the :2), it is an fe80:: Adress. When I do a tracert I don't have any Hop. What i do false? Please help me! PS: IPv6 Forwarding is true.

My Tunnel is an static IP-Adress, but I have an static external(public) IP-Address.
Thus, is the external/public IP address configured on the machine you are terminating the tunnel endpoint on?
I installed Radvd on my Ubuntu Server and Used as Prefix the Subnetprefix from my /64
Which exact prefix?
Now all Clients get an IPv6, but can't Ping, and wieistmeineip.de shows no IPv6 Connection.
What IP address do they get?
My Gateway is not the Adress what my Tunnel Client have (the :2), it is an fe80:: Adress.
fe80::/10 is link-local, for gateways obtained through RA that is normal.
When I do a tracert I don't have any Hop.
What does the traceroute look like?
PS: IPv6 Forwarding is true.
What does the IPv6 routing table look like?

Hello, The Ubuntu Server has an internal Address, no DMZ Server. "Behind Nat" Tracert says:"No response" btw. no route. What Routing Table? I don't know, i don't configured any firewall oder IPTbales. The Clients get a Adress from my Subnet. In radvd I input the Prefix of my Subnet. An Example Client http://i.epvpimg.com/cT6Gc.png Ping to Google http://i.epvpimg.com/AnVqf.png ifconfig on my Ubuntu Server http://i.epvpimg.com/5F2le.png Ping on Ubuntu Server works.

The Ubuntu Server has an internal Address, no DMZ Server. "Behind Nat"
In that case, making a static tunnel work properly will be "interesting", better to just use AYIYA.
Tracert says:"No response" btw. no route.
What is the exact output?
What Routing Table
The IPv6 one: ip -6 ro show
I don't know, i don't configured any firewall oder IPTbales.
Always good to look like. See also the contact page for a list of items to check.
In radvd I input the Prefix of my Subnet.
An Example Client http://i.epvpimg.com/cT6Gc.png
Looks quite fine.
Ping to Google http://i.epvpimg.com/AnVqf.png
Pings do not matter, if they fail, use traceroute6, or better tracepath6 to determine where it goes wrong.
ifconfig on my Ubuntu Server http://i.epvpimg.com/5F2le.png
Only the tunnel interface has an IPv6 address, you might want to add one from the subnet-prefix to eth0.
