Tunnel stops responding

Hi,
I have a SixXS tunnel for my co-located server since a few days and I received 2 emails from sixxs that it's not responding to pings anymore. Everytime I can "fix" it by bringing the interface down and up again, but this is very annoying and I lost all my credits already.
The server is running Ubuntu Hardy Jeos (it's a VPS running on my server). Anybody know how this could happen? Anything I can do to check next time?

It is probably the top asked question: FAQ : Connectivity (Tunnels and Subnets) : My tunnel goes down after some idletime. My tunnelendpoint also is a NAT/Connection Tracker
I wonder how we could make it so people actually see it instead of asking on the forums.

Off the top of my head.....This may take some work, but what about making the user select the topic that they're posting about? For example, if the topic has to do with the tunnel going down after sometime, a suggestion could pop up telling the user to go look at a certain page

Ehmm.. we provide IPv6 connectivity, not intelligent forums...
If people would just heed those big orange boxes and read the FAQ it would be solved.

Thanks, I hope this solves it. At first I thought this was not the answer, because I'm not using NAT...

Well, it's not fixed, because the tunnel stopt responding to pings again. (Although I added the NOTRACK thing to my iptables)
