I want to setup a reverse DNS for my Subnet (R3597 2001:6f8:9d4::/48). The DNS Servers are configured and working: dig -x 2001:6f8:9d4::2 @ns1.freakempire.de ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;2.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.4.d.9.0.8.f.6.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa. IN PTR ;; ANSWER SECTION: 2.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.4.d.9.0.8.f.6.0.1.0.0.2.ip6.arpa. 604800 IN PTR star.freakempire.de. But if i click on the ZoneCheck tool, a failure message appears: "Unable to find primary nameserver (SOA)". Does my NS (ns1.freakempire.de) also need an IPv6 Address? Regards

Yes. Didn't you have to enter a host name in your Tunnel config for sixxs? Without some sort of DNS entry, no one will know what that name resolves to. So, the Nameserver for my subnet needs to be IPv6 accessible?

I cannot find an option for that in the Sixxs menu. On the other hand, does it make sense to configure the hostname whith sixxs? This Information should be stored in the Nameserver. Which is what Im trying to setup. Correct me if Im wrong... I changed the nameserver for my subnet from my primary IPv4 nameserver to an IPv6 only nameserver. But the ZoneCheck tool still complains about not finding the primary nameserver. But the nameserver is there and IPv6 accessible:

It took me a while to find it too. If you click on your subnet, there will be an option to add a name server. From what I can tell, you have to have a /48 to do this, you cannot do it with just a tunnel. It seems like you're trying to add RDNS do your tunnel (because of the ::2 address you're using) and I don't think that will work.
