Run my own server for ayiya
[de] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 22 January 2010 10:46:40
Hello, I'd like to supply around 100 locations with a subnet of my ipv6 /48 subnet. These locations have a dsl link with dynamic ipv4 addresses. The routers on which I'd like to supply ipv6 to, are behind the main router and NAT. Therefore my idea was to supply them with the aiccu client and use ayiya. But in order to achieve this, I would need to run my own server with authentification and so on, basically just like the the PoPs run. Is that possible, or does someone have an alternative idea to achieve the mentioned goal. Thanks alot and best wishes, Alexander Schaber

I recall seeing mention of people using OpenVPN for private IPv6 networks. AICCU uses various protocols like TIC and TSP, so you might search for servers using those protocols. I glanced quickly at the Wikipedia entry for AICCU and linked to a couple of protocols, but didn't immediately find any server software. I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

AICCU is the client configuration utility, so the links on WP don't help for building a server. There is WP page on AYIYA, but the references given there go back to SixXS, which contains only the specs. Has anybody implemented this as server (open source)?
