Can't forward my packages
[nl] Shadow Hawkins on Thursday, 28 January 2010 13:24:52
I have set up a proper working tunnel to my home server, which works, and I have set up radvd according to the numbers I received in the mail from the bot. The problem here is that though both sides are connected, they aren't connected to each other. I have tried to look at the firewall rules, but I don't know enough about firewalls to understand it all (I'm only 17 and more oriented towards programming than networking), and looked at my routing tables, which I don't think have the answer, though I'm not sure. I run Ubuntu 8.04 server. If you need more info, just ask for it. Can you help me?

Start by providing the details (see the contact page where the big orange box points) Also explaining what you did & tried would help. As nobody but you can see your computers, there is nothing else one can do for you.

I found the trick. Ubuntu 8.04 has a default setting I didn't know about. It blocks all IPv6 traffic by default, but I've enabled it, and now it works.

Thanks for trying to help me. That such a small thing can make such a difference.
