Protocol 41 and DSL-604+?
[se] Shadow Hawkins on Friday, 29 October 2004 03:34:10
I have successfully created my tunnel with aiccu. When i try to ping something i don't get reply. After some hours of searching the forum i found out that maby it was Proto 41. My question is: Is it possible to make my tunnel work with my router? If so, how? /regards Niklas

This problem is quite interesting for me as I also have D-Link DSL-604+. I've tried to use this with some other tunnelbrokers (Hurricane Electric, XS26, FreeNet6) and didn't work, but I thought it was my fault. Now I have at some point as you and I also think it's routers fault. Anyway, it's firmware is _very_ buggy If anyone knows how to get it work, I would really appreciate that. Unfortunately, I don't have very much techincal information about IPv4-to-IPv6. What kind of packets protocol 41 uses? If uses some strange packets, it could be that DSL-604+ doesn't recognize them and thus doesn't route them.

hi there, not all routers supports the fowarding of "proto 41" , try to search with google the correct router type of router, or tell the router support.
