aiccu /autotest for FreeBSD
[dk] Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 12 October 2010 09:15:52
I'm using FreeBSD and the sixxs-aiccu from ports. While everything seems to be working fine, I'd like to try the autotest, which is mentioned regularly here. But I only get this:
# /usr/local/sbin/sixxs-aiccu autotest /usr/local/etc/aiccu.conf Tunnel Information for T38985: POP Id : dkcph01 IPv6 Local : 2001:16d8:dd00:c5::2/64 IPv6 Remote : 2001:16d8:dd00:c5::1/64 Tunnel Type : ayiya Adminstate : enabled Userstate : enabled
Is there no (working) autotest for FreeBSD?

In theory that should work, but it depends I guess also a lot where that binary you are executing points to, which version of AICCU that is etc. Note also that if you are already running AICCU in the background that you have to shut that down first. A better question though is asking you what problem you have, the autotest function merely checks a couple of basic parameters and then establishes that 'it works' or 'it does not work', what is actually wrong can be a myriad of things.

My problem is just that I'm curious ;-) And I'd like the tools in order before something eventually goes wrong. I just imagine if something goes wrong the first thing you ask is that I run autotest :-)
