SixXS.net not using Joker DNS servers?

Hi all,
this question is because of the fact that I cannot find out why SixXS is not using the Joker DNS servers.
In some other posting I read that Joker is able to provide IPv6 glue records. That is proved by the fact that de NS query for SixXS returns:

What puzzles me is that NO Joker DNS servers are used, but paphosting.
In some other post I read that Joker.com is a good starting point if one is looking for a full IPv6 DNS solution.
Does someone (may be SixXS staff) know why this solution is chosen?
In the end I ask this question because I am looking for a IPv4/IPv6 DNS solution to point some domains to my own web servers, but I find it very hard to find out where to register a .nl domain and being able to administer the zone (IPv4, IPv6 and glue for the both).
Can someone recommend a party that does all that?
Kind regards,
Ralph.

Maybe because our own DNS servers work quite fine? :)
We just use joker as a registrar, not for the actual DNS hosting.
paphosting is Pim and Paul's excellent super-fail-over-thus-dont-have-to-wake-up-at-night-system, see their website for more details.
Note that all the reverse DNS zones for SixXS are hosted on ns{123}.sixxs.net primarily because those change a lot and that conflicts a bit with the svn model we use for paphosting.

SIDN.nl supports IPv6 glue, according to IPv6 Glue FAQ at least at this point RegFish and InternetX can handle the glue registration, the actual hosting of course you can do anywhere you want, even on your own DNS servers.

Hi Jeroen,
thanks for the clearification. So if I'll sign up at Joker's and use them as a registrar they can do the IPv6 glue-ing for my (like the did for SixXS)?
Also I had a look at the paphosting website. I'd like them to do the DNS hosting for me, but I cannot find a page to sign up. Could you tell me how to achive that?
Kind regards,
Ralph.

I use gratisdns.dk, which, as the name implies, is free.
They have 5 nameservers with full ipv6-connectivity.
Only downside is their BOFH-attitude sometimes.

Hi Lief,
thanks for the response. Did you also register your domain(s) at gratisdns or did you choose another one?
As I am from Holland, my Danish is not very good. Do you know how the support is for English speaking people?
Kind regards,
Ralph.

You can buy several tld's through gratisdns.dk, also .nl.
The BOFS can naturally speak english, but you should be able to understand the control panel, even if if it's in danish.
As long you know that "Tilfj" means "Add" and "Slet" means delete, you'll do fine.
Words like A, PTR, MX look the same in any language :-)

Hmm this forum strips international characters?!
"Tilfj" should read Tilføj
Test: 3 Danish characters in upper and lower: ""

I requested a long time ago thatthey add support for secondary dns hosting with an ipv6 master server, but it was ignored.
