tunnel through a usr8054
[nl] Shadow Hawkins on Monday, 26 December 2005 14:05:43
Hello, I have an Alcatel ADSL modem and a usr8054 wireless router behind it. So far i have not been able to get a tunnel properly through both devices. When i hook a machine directly to the ADSL modem, everything works as a charm (The IP of the machine is the public IPV4 address at that point.) With the router between the modem and my home network, I have not been able to get a working setup. Tried various things including adding the computer to the router DMZ but it seems not to allow any traffic through. (ping6 times-out). I tried creating static routes \ the AICCU client etc but nothing has helped so far; so i am starting to suspect the router simply does not allow this type of traffic. Can anyone confirm this will not work through the usr8054 or provide me some info on how to realize it? thnx R
