[au] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 23 March 2011 08:38:39
G-Day folks, What we are trying to do is disable ipv4 on a vlan on our cisco, we have a cisco 2821 additionally we have a HWIC-D-9ESW we want to put port 5 on a vlan that does not have any ipv4 support from here we will dhcp ipv6 only this ipv6 network will be pluged into a wireless router this wireless network covers about half of our towns CBD we will push out free ipv6 internet access to the cbd it will be a good fun thing to do and im looking forward to it... normally to enable ipv4 on the cisco i would do ip cef however i cant do no ip cef within a vlan sooooooooo - ideas? also i would very much like to set some kind of collision for all ipv4 packets so anyone who trys to use ipv4 on the network will be left in a situation where that wont work, the reason for this is that the wifi covers a VERY large area and we dont people on one side of town to hook in and pass ipv4 packets to their mate over the other side of town.... i am happy to use some kind of linux setup to acheive this if needed thanks in advance
