MTU suggestion....
[us] Shadow Hawkins on Thursday, 12 October 2006 20:22:29
I am running a standalone Cisco router as my tunnel end point for my network. I'm currently still running with the 1280 MTU on the site and running " ipv6 mtu 1280" on the interface my router passes v6 to my network on to keep DF / MSS from being an issue. My question - can the tunnel broker support a larger MTU without difficulity? I see I can set it higher, and I can match that in my router, but I would like some feedback about this first before I jump off. Basically, is the MTU max I can set on the webpage for my tunnel -really- supported with no problems on a Cisco endpoint? Thanks in advance, Dave Anderson www.aprsfl.net

The PoP can handle packets upto 1500 bytes, minus the tunnel overhead. The path from your endpoint towards the PoP though might not. See also the FAQ about mtu.
