Intermittent traffic flow
[ca] Shadow Hawkins on Saturday, 11 June 2011 22:57:39
I've had my tunnel up for quite a while now, and have always had this issue with it. However, with world ipv6 day having passed this week, and a few large providers having decided to leave things ipv6 enabled (ie: youtube) all of a sudden it is impacting my daily browsing more severely. The issue is that every so often, traffic simply won't flow properly for me. For instance, if I go to ipv6.google.com, it will (probably) load. If I sit and refresh the page, within the next few retries, it will fail to load. This also manifests itself on youtube with videos loading along successfully and then suddenly being unable to buffer any further - refreshing the page allows the video to continue from where it was and keep going. Unfortunately I'm not entirely certain where to begin my troubleshooting process. My setup is a Fedora system acting as my home network router, which is also the endpoint for my IPv6 tunnel. IPv6 addresses are distributed through my home network, and internally communication appears to work fine. I can ping6 external addresses without issue, as well as do DNS lookups. So, can anyone help me figure out what the problem is? What further information can I provide to help troubleshooting?

You have a subnet, then?
