AYIYA, vista, joikuspot, cant connect to tic.sixxs.net:3874

I'm trying to configure aiccu on vista, connecting over wireless to my Nokia, running Joikuspot free version.
Joikuspot is turning my phone into a hotspot, I can connect my pc to, giving it internet access over the 3G-network. I'm typing this message over that connection.
But I can't get aiccu to connect.
I get this:
C:\Users\leif\DOCUME~1\MODTAG~1>.\aiccu-2008-03-15-windows-console.exe start
[error] Couldn't connect to the TIC server tic.sixxs.net
[error] Couldn't retrieve first tunnel for the above reason, aborting
I can ping tic.sixxs.net.
But I can't telnet tic.sixxs.net:3874
Is that a sign that the relevant port/protocol is closed in Joikuspot free?
I can't connect to nntp either, and I read about ports being closed, however it is not stated clearly which are. I guess it could also be the telecom blocking...
I have not tried (or rather not succeded) to connect with aiccu over my cabled networks, as they already are ipv6-enabled via tunnels, so I'm not sure if I have misconfigured something on this pc.
Is it a project doomed to fail, when I can't telnet to tic.sixxs.net:3874?

Carmen Sandiego on Wednesday, 13 July 2011 07:45:30 Is it a project doomed to fail, when I can't telnet to tic.sixxs.net:3874? I'd say yes, according to this:
Most corporate networks forbid forms of tunneling as this would open a channel over which an attack into their corporate network could take place as it bypasses the policies implemented in their firewalls. If you are in such a situation, don't try to circumvent your administrators policy but talk to them and try and get IPv6 connectivity setup together with them according to their policies, it is their network afterall, not yours.
So if your operator allows only some subset of predefined ports - you cannot use the service.

It seems the free Joikuspot light is only allowing http and https; and perhaps even through a proxy, so I guess I can't tunnel, unless I setup a relay on port 80 at home :-)
