XP nothing reachable, routing problems? ![[de]](/s/countries/de.gif) Shadow Hawkins on Saturday, 23 June 2007 18:38:09
Hello,
my systems:
 Win 2003 running AICCU
 Working configuration (kame.net reachable)

 Client is a WinXP SP2
 All firewalls are right configured.
problem:
client gets the right IPv6 address from stateless auto configuration.
Lookup at a host does work, but no ping reply from any site.
But i get a ping6 reply on my Windows 2003 Server.
Have done everything on the FAQ site for setting up Windows.

Do you have any ideas?
Thanks ALEX

XP nothing reachable, routing problems?
Missing items:
netsh int ipv6 show address (on both client and server)
netsh int ipv6 show route (on both the client and server)
 traceroute outputs
 tcpdumps if needed
others, see "Reporting Problems" for more things to look at
Also stating "I get a ping6 reply on my Windows 2003 Server" doesn't say what the actual source was nor the destination nor which route it takes. Please be a lot more verbose. The more details the better.

Looks like my connection only works directly on the tunnel interface (2001:6f8:900:87b:: ) but not on the subnet addresses (2001:6f8:107a:: ).
XP nothing reachable, routing problems? Oeffentlich Bevorzugt infinite infinite 2001:6f8:900:87b:210:18ff:fe14:993aThat is definitely incorrect. Also because it is on the wrong interface. It should be on the Tunnel Interface (aiccu / no 11)
In that /64 only ::1 (PoP) and ::2 exist in that /64.
Are you doing RA's on the tunnel interface? This might be causing the problem.
Also check that both the tunnel and the ethernet interface both have forwarding enabled, just do a "netsh int ipv6" in a command line, and then "show ..." for all kinds of things and check that they look okay.
