AICCU / MacOSX 10.7.2

Hi there,
after last weeks update of MacOSX to 10.7.2 my aiccu tunnel setup stopped working.
It seems to be a problem with the tuntaposx driver/kext
aiccu start brings the usual messages, no errors.
However, tun0 (my sixxs if) doest not have my configured IP anymore but a local-link only.
The error log says:

Any ideas what I can do to fix this?
Thx a lot, Peter

Contact the developer of the tun/tap driver and/or see if there is a newer version out there that fixes this issue. I guess that should be soonish as a lot of people use that driver too for OpenVPN.

Yesterday I discovered that my IPv6 tunnel had been down for a while. A quick check showed it to be an issue with the TunTap driver. A new version of the driver is available at <http://tuntaposx.sourceforge.net/download.xhtml>.
I installed the kernel extension (it's made available as an installer package so double click and done) and it fixed the problem.
As a bonus, it seems to have fixed an issue with the network stack on the router crashing when (user) machines rejoined the IPv6 network.
If you install this version of the driver, make sure you do NOT load the older vernon of the TunTap kernel extension. For me that meant unloading the appropriate LauchDaemon.
There's a little more on my experiences with this at <http://www.ldml.com/www.ldml.com/Setting_Up_A_Mac_Server_As_An_IPv6_Router.html>.

PS I'm using Mac 10.6.x so your mileage may vary.
