ayiya tunnel is working (through nlede01) but my graphs stay empty
Shadow Hawkins on Tuesday, 24 January 2012 23:11:42
Hi all,
Since end of december 2011 I am successfully running a AYIYA tunnel to nlede01. Since the planned downtime on 2012-01-03 of this PoP, my tunnel graphs remain empty and my ISK's are (unfortunately) not updated.
I have verified that my endpoint is reachable through IPv6 and a tcpdump shows that the PoP is pinging me successfully:
10:28:11.123924 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2: ICMP6, echo request, seq 27757, length 988
10:28:11.123970 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1: ICMP6, echo reply, seq 27757, length 988
10:29:16.130645 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2: ICMP6, echo request, seq 27758, length 988
10:29:16.130691 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1: ICMP6, echo reply, seq 27758, length 988
10:30:21.136384 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2: ICMP6, echo request, seq 27759, length 988
10:30:21.136429 IP6 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::2 > 2001:7b8:2ff:42c::1: ICMP6, echo reply, seq 27759, length 988
Also, using several online ping services, I can verify that the tunnel is up and functioning as expected.
Can anybody tell me what I need to change on my side to resolve this issue ? Where should I start looking ?
Thanks a lot in advance!

To add some more information:
My local server is time synchronized and using radvd, I have enabled the other computers within the local network to also communicate using IPv6. At http://ipv6-test.com/ I can verify communication and funny enough IPv6 speed to the US is almost twice as fast!
The server itself is running a rather old ubuntu version (9.04) and aiccu version: 2007.01.15-console-linux. Could this be a reason?

Check the Connection Tracker FAQ item, that is generally the cause of why "it works when I look, but the robot thinks it does not"

Thanks!
After some more digging I also managed to find a duplicate issue pertaining to this issue
(sorry I missed it earlier):

Although it's marked a minor issue (it is, since the tunnel itself is working like a charm) it is preventing my isk's being updated.
