I'm having problems accessing ipv6 newsservers (such as newszilla6.xs4all.nl & reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl). I had it working under Windows XP (with the aiccu gui), but recently switched to new pc with windows 7 64bit, and now cannot get it to work anymore using the aiccu console (since the gui does not work under windows 7 64bit). What have I done: followed the very detailed guide on the wiki( https://www.sixxs.net/wiki/Aiccu/Installing_Aiccu_on_Windows_Vista). This seems to be work fine. I can ping ipv6.google.com, mentioned in point 10. And when I go to http://ipv6.google.com/ in Google Chrome, it also works. I keep the aiccu window open, and in a new cmd window type in following command: netsh interface portproxy add v4tov6 listenport=1117 connectaddress=reader.ipv6.xsnews.nl connectport=119 In Grabit I have a newsserver with following properties: hostname 127.0.0.1 port 1117 username & password filled in But grabit does not connect to the server... What am I doing wrong? I have windows firewall on, and nothing else. I am behind a router (D-Link DIR-635). On my old machine with windows xp it still works fine. So it is possible to connect from here, just not with my new windows 7 box. So frustrating. Thanks in advance for any assistance!
