aiccu on openvz client ?
[ca] Shadow Hawkins on Saturday, 24 March 2012 07:13:11
I have a "virtual private server" (CentOS 5) running on what I believe is an openvz host. Is there any way I can get aiccu running without access to the host ? If I try "aiccu start" the sixxs interface is not created, but IPv6 is enabled (I can ping6 ::1) and aiccu runs apparently normally. I also have access to both host and client on another machine running openvz (vzkernel-2.6.32, vzctl-3.0.30). In both cases the clients have interfaces venet0 = 127.0.0.1 and venet0:0 inet addr:a.b.c.d P-t-P:a.b.c.d In theory I can verify host settings and then ask the admin on the other system to implement changes. But I'd rather not.

Depending on the tunnel type you need to be able to either create sit interfaces (thus sit module loaded) for proto-41 based tunnels (static + heartbeat), or you need to have a tun interface for AYIYA. Ask your provider if they offer that option.
