Hello, So far, Aiccu almost does its work alright. On a start: # /usr/local/etc/rc.d/sixxs-aiccu start Tunnel Information for T1458: POP Id : nlams01 IPv6 Local : 2001:838:300:bb::2/64 IPv6 Remote : 2001:838:300:bb::1/64 Tunnel Type : 6in4-static Adminstate : enabled Userstate : enabled Tunnel Information for T1458: POP Id : nlams01 IPv6 Local : 2001:838:300:bb::2/64 IPv6 Remote : 2001:838:300:bb::1/64 Tunnel Type : 6in4-static Adminstate : enabled Userstate : enabled ifconfig -a gif0: flags=8051<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,MULTICAST> metric 0 mtu 1280 tunnel inet 213.197.11.24 --> 213.197.27.252 inet6 fe80::202:b3ff:fe2c:2b43%gif0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x6 inet6 2001:838:300:bb::2 --> 2001:838:300:bb::1 prefixlen 128 # ping6 www.insecure.nl PING6(56=40+8+8 bytes) 2001:838:300:bb::2 --> 2001:960:9:1::80:1 16 bytes from 2001:960:9:1::80:1, icmp_seq=0 hlim=58 time=22.406 ms 16 bytes from 2001:960:9:1::80:1, icmp_seq=1 hlim=58 time=26.816 ms 16 bytes from 2001:960:9:1::80:1, icmp_seq=2 hlim=58 time=22.496 ms 16 bytes from 2001:960:9:1::80:1, icmp_seq=3 hlim=58 time=22.577 ms 16 bytes from 2001:960:9:1::80:1, icmp_seq=4 hlim=58 time=39.265 ms The only thing that goes wrong is that AICCU isn't willing to daemonize... The config of AICCU: username MVW43-RIPE password REMOVEDBYADMINS protocol tic server tic.sixxs.net ipv6_interface gif0 tunnel_id T1458 #verbose false verbose true daemonize true automatic true pidfile /var/run/aiccu.pid defaultroute true makebeats true Any idea how this could be solved ? Thanks for your reply!

Why is it running twice when it gets 'started' ? Also why are you so silly to POST your password?

AICCU should daemonize and log if the tunnel is up and running right? If not I understud the concept of AICCU wrong :) Problem is, it exits directly after setting up the tunnel. Password, yeah, whoops |:(

As your tunnel type is "6in4-static" I don't think it should demonize; in such case all that is needed is to set up the tunnel and that's all, no need ot monitor it (and it could be configured directly from the system tools, no need for aiccu either)

Hmm, that explains enough... Thanks for the clearing up my mind ;)
