Confirmation that sixxs can be used with AEBS without credit issues (ping)

I've seen several posts on the net about using the Apple Airport Extreme Base Station and sixxs. I have a TIC based tunnel but don't want to request a block until I can confirm people are actually using it and sixxs can ping the tunnel indicating it is up (to them).
Can anybody confirm that this problem does or does not exist?

TIC is the configuration protocol, the tunnel can then still be proto-41, proto-41-heartbeat or AYIYA. Only the first can be setup on a AEBS (Airport Express Base Station) as software for the other two is not available for it.
As for the pinging, afaik, they can't be configured properly to enable that (IMHO it is odd that they turned it off and I wonder what other ICMP's they are just dropping to the floor...)
Only real way to find out is to ask Apple directly, they have an IPv6 mailinglist which is probably a good place to ask around.
In the extreme case I think we might be persuaded to not do pingtests for these devices. Though, then they will not have credit increases either.

Interesting. I'll see if I can't get an answer out of Apple. I work for the gov so I might use my Federal contract manager to get a response (it will be quicker that way) :)
I'd have no problem with disabling credit allowances for people that use AEBS with sixxs. Your tunnel is on the order of 35-50ms quicker using my local pop than Apple's tuneling mechanism.

Ok. I've opened a support ticket with Apple. Hopefully somebody will get back with me.
