im running windows 7 pro 64x. i have a verizon router that then goes to a 10 port all auto switch.
ok, i did what i thought i had to to set up my ipv6 connection, but im missing something. i was using gogo6 the windows application, but i wanted to try this as that does go down a lot. so i:
1. verified my user.
2. got a tunnel
3. got a sub net
4. i downloaded and installed aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe
now when i run aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe the info it says is this:
Tunnel Information for T19398
The configuration for this tunnel looks like:
----------------------------beginning of file----------------------------

StateAYIYA (automatically enabled on the fly)
----------------------------end of file----------------------------
the issue i think is the "Your IPv4AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
" but i dont see where i can change it.
i went as far as trying to make my own
aiccu.conf file. i saved it to my C/windows and it was this:
----------------------------beginning of file----------------------------
# AICCU Configuration
# Login information

tunnels.

in the windows app i also don't understand where the ivp4 pop address is coming from. i cant get it to change. i had thought that the "Multi-source Whois web interface" set that and it ran, but i cant get it to, so please if you can see what im doing wrong, let me know, and thank you for your help in advance.

Jeroen Massar on Wednesday, 15 August 2012 19:52:12 im running windows 7 pro 64x. i have a verizon router that then goes to a 10 port all auto switch. [..]
4. i downloaded and installed aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe now when i run aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe the info it says is this:
The GUI version does not work for Windows 7. You need to use the console edition after having installed the tun/tap driver from the AICCU page.
the issue i think is the "Your IPv4AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0 " but i dont see where i can change it.
This will change when you are running the correct AICCU and the tunnel has been established, as then your IPv4 address will be shown there. (The website asks the PoP for this detail).
in the windows app i also don't understand where the ivp4 pop address is coming from. i cant get it to change.
The PoP IPv4 address is retrieved by the TIC protocol. You cannot change it and there should not be a need to change it.

the sixxs application makes the ivp4 address 216.14.98.22
but if i do a ip check here:
http://ipv6-test.com/
i get Your internet connection is IPv4 capable
96.235.27.96 [?]
pool-96-235-27-96.pitbpa.fios.verizon.net
no where do i see the 216.14.98.22 address.
if i log in to my router again i see:
Ethernet Status:Connected
Connection Type:DHCP
IP Address:96.235.27.96
also if i login to sixxs webpasge, then go to "home" then click my tunnel it brings me to a page that has the info for my ivp6 setup. thatr page has always said Your IPv4AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
this is all the info again:

i need to find out how i can get rid of the 216.14.98.22 address and put in my address. i really think thats whats stoping me. i have spent 5 or 6 hours installing, and reinstalling, and trying to change settings but nothing fixes it. im sure you can see the age of the tunnel its that old as i tried to do this 3 years ago and ran into the same issue, but i gave up then, im not giving up now. it has to be something smple.
thanks for your help.

Jeroen Massar on Wednesday, 15 August 2012 20:54:02 the sixxs application makes the ivp4 address 216.14.98.22
That is the IPv4 address of the PoP (uschi02).
no where do i see the 216.14.98.22 address.
You should also not see it, it is on the other side.
thatr page has always said Your IPv4AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
Because your tunnel is not up. If it is up it will show your address (which apparently currently is 96.235.27.96)
i need to find out how i can get rid of the 216.14.98.22 address and put in my address.
That address will also be there, it is the other side of the tunnel.
it has to be something smple.
1) Did you install the tun/tap driver?
2) Did you start AICCU? (and if yes, what is the output).

1) Did you install the tun/tap driver? i installed openvpn connect. i also had gogo6 installed and it has a tunnel driver, so i THINK i have the tunnel driver installed. or am i missing something else?
2) Did you start AICCU? (and if yes, what is the output).
i take it you mean the "aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe" application. yes i have it installed, i can get it to run, on the 1st screen i see
username, (I HAVE THIS FILLED IN WITH MY INFO)
password, (I HAVE THIS FILLED IN WITH MY INFO)
provider (SIXXS),
and protocol(TIC).
i click OK
On the 2nd page i get the tunnel selection.
i pick the usch02 named tunnel i have. i also have a heartbeat tunnel that doeent seem to do anything that shows up on that page.
the next page shows all the info and has "ENABLE" at the bottom. if i click that it stays on connected, but nothing changes.
the info on that page is:
tunnel id: t19398
tunnel type ayiya
pop name usch02
isp name your org inc
pop city chicago illinois
pop country 2001:4978:f:288::1
ivp6 pop 2001:4978:f:288::1
ivp6 local 2001:4978:f:288::2
ivp6 prefixlength 64
ivp4 pop 216.14.98.22
ivp4 local ayiya
password ******
heartbeat interval 60 seconds
sorry, i don't know of a way to copy the output of the adapters settings. i remember reading you can do so through the cmd promp, but i didn't know the command so i typed it all as i want to get this working if i can :)

Check the output of AICCU, it will tell you.
i take it you mean the "aiccu-2006-07-23-windows-gui.exe" application.
As stated earlier, the GUI edition is not compatible with Windows 7.
