GPRS and tunneling

I am using 2 different ISPs over GPRS and I am having difficulty. The one ISP won't respond to a ping on the outside and the other one does. However, there seems to be a firewall in this ISP. I have been unsuccessful with both hurricane electric and sixxs. Has anybody been successful dealing with very strict gateways in between the endpoint and the broker? Is AYIYA the best solution for that? Also, the latency over GPRS seems to be about 500ms, does this rule out tunneling with sixxs?

AYIYA works fine over GPRS; which typically are NATted and with dynamic addresses.
Some GPRS providers only allow port 80/443 though, this to make sure that people cannot use VoIP over it....

Most PoPs have a 100ms maximum latency rule, but this is mostly there to avoid people from the other side of the world to use the PoPs. But it should not be something that rules out doing AYIYA over GPRS for instance.
