No IPv6 connectivity after installing Netscreen-Remote VPN client
[dk] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 07 January 2009 20:56:17
We have a Juniper firewall at work and thus use Netscreen Remote to connect from outside via VPN. However, after installing Netscreen Remote (9.0-r4) on my laptop, my IPv6 traffic has stopped flowing. I receive router advertisements just fine, and my interface does get a v6 IP, but I can't send any traffic that way. Tracert6 just hangs at the first hop. If I uninstall the VPN client, everything works great again (except I can't work from home anymore ;-)) Does anyone know what might be causing this and if there is a solution? /Jesper

Correction... When I tracert6, I get the following response when I have Netscreen Remote installed: [::] reports: Invalid source route specified.
