Heartbeat without aiccu, still OK ?
[be] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 18 February 2009 23:06:05
Hello, I'm trying to use the shell script version of the heartbeat client on a small AVR32 board that I now use as my main router. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm unable to get the tunnel working (the tunnel has been working great for years, when I had a static IP address). Is the simple hartbeat protocol still supported ? If it's the case, then I'll continue and try to see where I could have done something wrong. The problem with aiccu is that it does not use the autotools and is a PITA to integrate to buildroot to cross-compile it... Not even mentionning gnutls.

Ok, the problem has been solved. Netcat was broken. I switched to socat, and the heartbeat is working great.
