IPv6Gate: Support for numerical IPv4 addresses?
![]()
IPv6Gate currently does not support IPv4 addresses. This causes problems with e.g. certain CDNs. Example:
http://cdn.dominic-deegan.com.sixxs.org/comics/20100514.gif
gets redirected to
http://69.16.188.107.sixxs.org/b2d3n2p9/cds/comics/20100514.gif?<yadayada>
which renders an error page from IPv6Gate:
"69.16.188.107 does not have an IPv4 address"
... which is, of course, correct. 69.16.188.107 does not _have_ an IPv4 address, it _is_ one.
Is there any chance that this kind of functionality would be implemented, or do you see any problems with doing so?
