Cannot ping remote gateway on T56225 (AYIYA)
Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 04 May 2011 23:23:04
I can't ping my remote gateway 2001:1418:100:3df::1 on tunnel T56225 (AYIYA), all worked until few days ago, now the tunnel seems to set up correctly but I cannot ping anything on IPv6 and all the traffic seem dropped. AICCU is running on my gateway (which is a Debian 6.0); ask me if you need more informations.

Cannot ping remote gateway on T56225 (AYIYA)
Jeroen Massar on Thursday, 05 May 2011 13:11:19
I get replies from your endpoint:
64 bytes from 2001:1418:100:3df::2: icmp_seq=1 ttl=48 time=57.3 ms
Note that tcpdumping a tunnel interface does not make sense, you need to look at the interface below it and not exclude any traffic as it might just be that an ICMP unreachable of whatever form is sent from an intermediate host and there are other packets which might indicate problems.
