[se] Shadow Hawkins on Wednesday, 11 April 2012 16:13:03
I have read and followed the "Reporting Problems" section on the Contact page. I am removing these five pre-filled lines to demonstrate that I really read it. I am providing the full details as requested on the mentioned Contact page. If I do not remove this, then please ignore this message as I didn't read it anyway. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------>8 Multicast does not seam to be working on POP sesto01. I do not see any MLD messages orginating from the POP. I do not get any response then pinging all-MLDv2-routers group ( ping6 FF02::16%sixxs ) I do not see any session announcements on the global SAP group [FF0E::2:7FFE]:9875 Regards, Bjrn Lindgren

Multicast is experimental, it either works or it does not... It seems anyway that the m6bone has come to quite a halt, thus even if it did, there would be a very little amount of content to find...

Yes I do know it is experimental, but it may be that just the case that the ecmh daemon on the PoP server is down or have to be restarted. If mcast support is permanently disabled the PoP's detail page should be updated with this info so users know about it and can chose another PoP. I'm a programmer developing IPv6 multicast software so I need access for global testing, not for existing content.

If you want to do testing, the best way is to use local server and client side tools. As mentioned, there is no content out there any more as far as I know...
