Upgrade
Today (3rd of February 2009) nlede01 will be upgraded to a new Operating System and hardware. The upgrade should be finished on the 4th and the host up and running again.
The former install was up and running consecutively for more than two years but the hardware has become a bit flaky over time.

Hi,
Is it possible to send an e-mail in advance to users with tunnels to a POP that will go down for Maintenance?
It will save downtime for end users, they can migrate to another POP ahead of time.

When the upgrade is known in advance that is generally what we do. Unfortunately when hardware dies off that is not possible.
It will save downtime for end users, they can migrate to another POP ahead of time.
If you require 24/7 service perfectly running service you'll have to ask an ISP to provide that to you including a big fat SLA.
