No IPv6 connection under Windows Vista with
Shadow Hawkins on Monday, 11 May 2009 14:58:01
Hi,
I use Windows vista with AYIYA Client and it seems that I don't get an IPv6 Connection. Look at this:
Tunnel Information
The configuration for this tunnel looks like:
Tunnel Name My First Tunnel
PoP Name deham01
PoP Location Hamburg, Germany
PoP IPv4 212.224.0.188
Your Location Stuttgart, Germany
Your IPv4 AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
IPv6 Prefix 2001:6f8:900:cc3::1/64
PoP IPv6 2001:6f8:900:cc3::1
Your IPv6 2001:6f8:900:cc3::2
Created 2009-05-08 15:57:19 CEST
State AYIYA (automatically enabled on the fly)
Currently I configured a NT6Tunnel but no connection to a newsserver is possilble. I think I have an issue with my IPv6 connection because of this:
Your IPv4 AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
Can you please advice how to do a simple IPv6 test to verify my connnection?
Thanks
Cheers
Carlos

Please actually read the big yellow box.
For Vista issues, check out the wiki: Configuring Windows Vista.
Your IPv4 AYIYA, currently 0.0.0.0
That means that AICCU is not able to contact the PoP. See above link for more details on how to properly setup your host.
If you still have issues, and you have followed the proper instructions, then read the contact page and provide the details requested there.

Thank you very much. Now I'm stuck on this step? Do you see why this failed?

Maybe because of insufficient privileges?
Please try the forums for these kind of issues which are not related to the PoP.

What is here the problem? Do I have a lokal Interface issue or what is this?
Thanks
